Many video game industry experts are still in an uproar over Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard, primarily due to the ongoing allegations of misconduct by current and former employees. So it’ll be a while until we see any dream projects like a hypothetical new Guitar Hero. The deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard won’t be done until roughly 2023, at which point the company’s current CEO, Bobby Kotick, is reportedly stepping down. Featuring way more songs than the original, Guitar Hero II plays in much the same way, meaning, need to hit the exact notes as they cross your fretboard.
